the grocery store can be a daunting task with a toddler in tow. that's why i believe in the grocery store bribe. usually we get a cookie that alex can work on during the shopping trip, but they didn't have any cookies this week. so i let alex pick out what she wanted...she chose a donut with pink frosting and valentines day sprinkles! probably the last thing i would have chosen, but she enjoyed it. she ate off all the sprinkles first and then started on the actual donut. she actually didn't eat much more than what you see in the picture, but that kept her occupied for most of the shopping trip, which is the whole point :)
