errands, the pool, and 5guys

alex ran errands with me almost all weekend. we did fit in a trip to the pool finally. she was still scared, but did fairly well. some day she'll learn to swim and get over that fear. since we were out so much running errands we also ate out a couple of meals. i introduced her to the sausage mcgriddle for breakfast from mcdonald's: i knew it would be her dream sandwich, sausage in a bun made out of pancake and syrup dollops. and then while we were out running errands on sunday we went to 5guys burger. she loves the peanuts there, and has tried their hot dogs and grilled cheese, but this was her first burger from there. she said it was just how she liked it and chowed down on that thing. at home, she helped me cook and craft a bit. and she helped with some cleaning.
