last week john had to be in chicago for work, so alex and i were on our own for dinners and such. she really wanted to get her hairs cut (her hair was getting long and thick and tangly.) so we took her in to the kids cut place and she wanted a short bob - i think she wanted shorter, but the girl seemed timid about cutting off too much hair. it looks cute and she says it feels better. then we enjoyed a dinner out at moosehead. alex went to tkd most nights and even did an extra class on saturday so she could help. she is tip testing this weekend - which for a red-black belt means a full belt test to earn her tip. we enjoyed hanging outdoors on saturday and cooking. on sunday, alex and i had tickets to go see Phantom of the Opera. Alex was the one that wanted to go and I've never seen it before. It was great! the costumes and the big chandelier and the singing was all fantastic. alex really enjoyed it too. that morning we had downloaded pokemon go as well - we met people at the theatre that were also pokemon searching and we caught some there and have gone on extra walks to search for pokemon. it's been fun. busy week and soon vacation - yay.
