thursday night all three of us went to see the raconteurs at the agora. we had never been there before and we are all big jack white fans. it was a good show and we got really good seats up in the balcony - front row. the lower level is all standing room only. since we were out late, i took friday off so i could take alex back to school clothes shopping. she picked out a lot of pants and such, but we need to search for some tops still. we enjoyed lunch at 3Palms in crocker park as well. saturday, alex spent the day at lacey's camper with her. i don't have any pictures because alex didn't take any and john and i were at a wedding. alex had fun - i guess they swam and jumped off rope swings and such into the water. she was sore the next day from all the fun. sunday, alex and i went to see the lion king. we saw it when alex was little, but she was pretty young and this is one of her favorite disney movies so we wanted to see it again. the puppets and costumes and everything are really amazing. our seats were great (not our usual series spots - we were a lot closer today.) alex also baked macarons this week - they were delicious.
