well, here we are back from thanksgiving break. we went down to cincinnati to see grandpa jerry and uncle john. we had our dinner over at aunt mary's and uncle jim's and the rest of the family which included jonah and caroline this year. jonah is almost 3 and alex seemed to have fun following him around all night and copying whatever he was doing. so she was entertained. she didn't eat much - the carb queen basically stuck to bread! the next day we did our gap outlet shopping :) - actually i did my shopping while alex slept in the car and everyone else kept her company. then we went to the newport aquarium. that was a lot of fun, alex kept jumping up and down yelling "fishees." she also enjoyed the birds, alligators, turtles, frogs, and at the end were the penguins - she seemed to really enjoy those, she was jumping and yelling and watching them swim about. then, of course, they make you walk through the gift shop on your way out, where alex proceeded to pick out the wierdest little doll ever (it's a seal with rubbery teal rasta hair) - she likes it though. when back at the condo, alex enjoyed walking poor kaya around the living room on a leesh. but kaya had fun too :)
