so, alex apparantly has given up naps on the weekend - we're going on a month or so in a row with no weekend napping. she did pretty well on saturday, even though she told me her teeth hurt. well, on sunday, she did really well, except she basically fell asleep during dessert (she actually didn't even finish eating her piece of cake, she said "all done" and she was.) the picture is from saturday night, john was working at a school benefit, so it was alex and i - and she insisted on having the chair out with the umbrella up inside the house to watch t.v. i know it's supposed to be bad luck to open an umbrella inside, but that's only true if you're superstitious and alex is too young for that yet, so i figure it's not bad luck. then sunday we went over to bopey and normy norm's for mother's day and alex was looking around the family room and i asked her what she was looking for, her reply was "eggs." i guess easter was the last time we were in that room, so she thought there was going to be eggs again!
