alex had an eventful week. first of all she was on spring break with daddy all week and they got to do lots of fun stuff like the zoo and baking cookies and painting and roller-skating and so forth and so on. it has been raining like crazy here so soccer practice got cancelled again, but they moved her game indoors this week (i guess they've never done that before). so yay, she got to have her first game. she's #2 on the black birds. alex got a few good kicks in and seemed to really enjoy herself, but i think her favorite part was getting a snack at the end of the game and cheering "goooooo black birds" with her team. then later that day we released the butterflies - there was a break in the rain and there's no telling when that will happen again in the next couple of weeks. i guess lonnie got one of the butterflies - oops :). and finally the easter bunny came to our house and left eggs filled with jelly beans and chocolates. he also left her a basket which included a tabletop easel, new crayons and nail polish. alex had a fun week but she's excited to go see her friends at school today and have dance class. happy easter.
