back to school today after a long weekend for thanksgiving. we went to cincinnati to see grandpa jerry and uncle john. alex ate plenty of noodles on thanksgiving and barely tried the turkey. she had fun playing with her 2nd cousins and beating up on uncle gary which looks like a wwe competition. we went to the nature center where uncle john volunteers and alex got to be up close with an owl. she enjoyed playing with grandpa jerry's train set and taking lonnie on walks. we got our gap outlet shopping in and la rosa's - when we walked into the pizza place alex exclaimed "oh, it smells really good in here". lonnie did well traveling too, he didn't chew anything up and he was relatively good in the car. we watched alvin and the chipmunks: the squeakuel over and over again in the car. once we were back home we cleaned up the thanksgiving decorations and got out christmas. we spent the rest of the weekend getting the tree set up and the rest of the house decorated.
