bowling party

i love this picture (john took it on his phone), it's so totally eighties with the colorful bowling shoes and confetti carpeting = awesome. alex had a friend's birthday party this weekend and it was a bowling party. it sounds like she had a great time. they had the bumpers in the gutter so they would actually hit some pins. i hear alex did well, even hitting 9 pins with one ball. john was nice enough to take alex to the party so that i could do some santa workshop stuff. alex got to eat some pizza and a green cupcake - and yes she came home with a green mouth and lips (i kept forgotting it was icing and was wondering why her lips were green.)
