4th of july

it was an odd week since the holiday was right in the middle. it was soooo hot that we didn't do a lot - too hot for a parade and the fireworks are always past bedtime. we have some sparklers from last year (from uncle matt, i think) that she used out front. she was scared at first but then got the hang of it and wanted to do more. we packed up a bunch of stuff for vacay. alex had a birthday party for olivia this weekend at the kiddie park - she had fun and got to see some of her friends. and today she starts theatre camp! she's very excited about that, she said she wants to be an actress and wants to be on stage. i can't wait to see how she does.
