officially a kindergartner

alex officially started kindergarten on friday! she loves it and was so excited this morning for her second day of kindergarten. her teacher is mrs. doyle. she rides the bus to school from daycare and back to daycare after school - and she told me this morning that she was happy john and i had to get to work so early in the morning so that she could ride the bus from daycare. she gets to pack a snack every day now, which she loves. and she enjoys the playground at school - that's pretty much all i got out of her about her first day of school. we had a good weekend. she got to see her cousin, abbey. john made chicken on the grill and alex loved that. she picked out a couple of new fish for her tank - one of them is an orange molly with a black mustache. saturday we built a fort and she helped me craft all weekend.
