holiday tea

the holidays are getting really close, really fast! we're trying to shop and start wrapping and all that sort of thing. lacrosse and tae kwon do are good. school is good and busy with loads and loads of homework. alex has a math test this week. this weekend was our annual holiday tea at the Ritz. it was a bit different this year; the Ritz had construction going on so entrances were different and things were set up in different places. it was still delicious and lovely. the gingerbread house was all set up. we were in a different room at these giant tables, but the view was really nice with really big windows. and they gave alex and abbey teddy bears. they accommodated all our special requests like no meat, no jelly, no peanut butter with smiles. everything was wonderful as usual and it was nice to go past the new ice rink at public square.
