this picture is from about a month ago (i think) when john took alex ice-skating. she's getting better and they had a lot of fun. right now we are trying to get all our shopping done and wrap stuff and prepare for christmas. alex gave her teacher gifts yesterday at school and she's giving her daycare gifts today. it sounds like her main teacher, mr. englehart, liked his gifts and i'm sure ms. eckhart did too, but alex didn't see her open them. alex also had her last lacrosse class for a couple of weeks last night. and she woke up this morning with a cold so we are just trying to push thru and get to her school break. she is already worried about how much homework she's going to have, but she'll get it done. and we need to start prepping or our trip to chicago to see Hamilton! i'm very excited - alex will be when it gets going. hopefully it's not too too cold when we're there since i want to walk over to the park and see the metal jellybean and walk to our meals and such, but we'll see. the theatre is attached to our hotel so that'll be easy - it's so exciting! happy holidays
