winter lacrosse is over and they're finalizing the schedule for the spring season, so alex has a couple of weeks off with sports. she's studying and working on her resource room research project and homework. she's been doing a lot of origami and drawing lately as well. this weekend, alex and i went to wizard world. this is our third year of going to this so we're getting the hang of it. this weekend was all about doctor who. we were going to get an autograph from stan lee, but he cancelled due to pneumonia. because we were supposed to see stan lee we dressed as characters from his movies on saturday: alex was star lord from guardians of the galaxy and i was quicksilver from xmen: days of future past. we did see john barrowman who was a companion on doctor who. he was so funny and nice and his panel was so entertaining. on sunday, we saw david tennant who played the 10th doctor and billie piper who was one of his companions. alex was dressed as a red dalek and i was the TARDIS. their panels were nice and they were very friendly. alex and i have now met 2 doctors and 3 companions.
