we picked alex up from the airport friday night. she had a great time and swam a lot! she enjoyed flying except for the turbulence on the way there, but she did it and is ready to fly again. saturday, alex skipped her last coding class to enjoy lunch out with us for john's birthday. she got to meet our friend, nick, who works at beerhead. and we enjoyed some pizza and beer. when we got home alex made two desserts: peeps rice krispie treats and peanut butter cup cheesecake brownies. she did a fantastic job. sunday, we went over to bopey and norm's to celebrate easter (since they were on spring break the week before.) we had lots of delicious foods and got our easter baskets and alex helped the kids find eggs. last night alex had lacrosse practice that went on for an entire hour in the pouring rain. she was soaking wet and cold by the time she was done. she's supposed to have a couple of games this week, but we'll see how much it rains.
