independent study showcase

this is alex showing off her independent study project for the gifted program. her project was about women in technology. she did a great job and even built displays (she had to undo them because kids were playing with them and they were generating too much heat.) she also had a field trip that day to taming of the shrew which she really enjoyed. she had coding this weekend - which may have been her last of the year, we're not sure yet what the last day is and with lacrosse and such she may miss a couple. she was supposed to have her first lacrosse game of the season on sunday, but since we live in cleveland the weather went from 60 to snowing in one day and her game got cancelled due to snow! she has one coming up. she is really enjoyed lacrosse and is pushing coach to make her a leader with the defensive players. alex also baked macarons this weekend and they were delicious.
