thanksgiving, frozen, and toboggan chutes

we drove down to cincinnati on wednesday when the winds were crazy. john did a great job driving and the winds didn't add too much time to the drive. we got to my dad's in time to hang out and have dinner on wednesday. thursday, thanksgiving day, we watched some of the parade and then went to see frozen II. we all thought it was great and really loved the extra scene after the credits. later that day, we went over to aunt mary and uncle jim's for thanksgiving dinner. aunt mary is doing pretty well, it was nice to see her. friday, we enjoyed some breakfast and then drove back home. saturday, the three of us went to the metroparks toboggan chutes. we had never been before and it's so close to us. we only went down once (it looked like a once you've done it you're all set sort of thing.) it was a lot of fun, i'm glad we tried it. then we went out to lunch at the asian place we enjoy in strongsville. the rest of the weekend was spent decorating, doing laundry, getting stuff done, and making the house smarter.
