band concert, santa, coding and playhouse square

alex had her first band concert of the year this week. she did a great job. there's at least 2 more this year plus a couple possible competitions. friday night i had an eye appointment and alex went with me. after my appointment we had our pictures taken with santa (alex was such a good sport doing that with me) and she wanted a hot chocolate from starbucks. then we had dinner together at the rail. saturday was coding class and then homework. sunday, alex and i had theatre tickets for the band's visit. neither one of us enjoyed the show very much, but the festival of trees was all set up which was really fun to see. and the giant lit bulb outside was out. we also enjoyed dinner at sung's where alex got sushi and i got udon and we shared a couple of appetizers - it was delicious.
