alex is saying more and more clearly. one of her most common phrases is "too hot". everything is "too hot" even if it's freezing cold if she doesn't want to eat it. but she does know how to use it when something is too hot. well, we went to red robin on saturday and alex wanted the mac 'n cheese. when it showed up it was too hot - seriously too hot - the dish was burning hot. when she finally took a taste it was still too hot, and being as stubborn as she is that was it - she was not about to eat any mac 'n cheese after that. so basically the whole meal went to waste. well, john said something to the server about how dangerous the dish was. the manager came over, who was very nice, comped the mac 'n cheese and offered alex a sundae - she heard that and perked right up (of course, i'm not sure how she knew the word sundae). so we couldn't pass that up since she heard him offer, so alex got an ice-cream sundae. she didn't eat much of it, but she ate every single sprinkle (i'm starting to see a trend here with sprinkles).
