so daycare was closed on presidents day and john had the day off too. so it was daddy and alex day :) since it's winter there is a limit of stuff alex can do indoors at our house, so we bought one of those cheap watercolor paints for her. she got one of john's old shirts that was ruined for some reason or another and that became her paint shirt. i wasn't there, but you can tell from the pictures that she was thoroughly involved in this project - she wouldn't even look up to pose for a picture. then when they were finished painting she didn't want to take her painting shirt off either :)
