alex had a lovely valentine's day week. they had their party at school on thursday. she brought in dora valentine cards with smarties taped to them. they decorated card boxes to hold all their valentines and enjoyed sweets and such. she got a new animal book from grandpa jerry for valentine's day and she made cookies and got jammies and bubbles from bopey and normy-norm. making cookies primarily means putting sprinkles on sugar cookies, which alex is very good at - never mind that just as many sprinkles make it to her tummy as they do to the cookies. this picture is alex on the day of her val day party at school - everyone liked her hair ties (there are little red heart gems on them). i don't think we were able to keep clothes on her the rest of the weekend (well, once we were home from gymnastics and making cookies). it's freezing cold outside and yet alex refuses to keep clothes on for longer than 20 minutes. there's not much we can do either since she's able to get herself undressed or at least far enough that she gets stuck, panics and then you have no choice but to help her finish getting undressed. oh well, what can ya do. happy valentine's day :)
