time out and singing

this is just a fun video of alex singing a couple of different songs with her dora card and book. so, alex doesn't seem to understand a couple things about time outs. we don't give her too many, but for a couple of days if i tell her not to do anything (without even mentioning the words time out) she will say "ok, time out" and walk over and put herself in a time out. the other thing she doesn't seem to understand at times is that time outs are supposed to be punishment. sometimes she basically asks for it, and i say "do you want a time out?" and she'll say "yes" with a big smile on her face and then go sit in time out. it is pretty funny except that she does this raspberry spitting thing at me that she thinks is funny and i'll tell her one more time and she gets a time out, so she'll look straight at me and spit again. it's not a big problem yet, just funny so far, but we'll see :)
