alex had a great weekend of finding easter eggs (filled with jelly beans) and baskets, and coloring eggs and eating candy. friday night we had easter at bopey and normy-normal's house, with jess, uncle matt, and mimi. they hid plastic eggs filled with jelly beans. alex had a grand ole time finding all the eggs and dropping the jelly beans into her cup. in fact, she was so entertained by it, that john, jess, mimi, and uncle matt kept refilling the eggs and rehiding them - she got wise to them when her jelly bean stash wasn't growing. then again on sunday morning, the easter bunny had hid a bunch of plastic eggs around the house for alex to find. she was very good at finding the eggs and even better at eating the jelly beans :) the easter bunny also brought alex a couple of baskets full of goodies, the one she seemed to like the best was the bubble blowing gun (which she had picked out herself, had to have it, but forgot about it as soon as we left the store - so the easter bunny hid it away until basket time).
