alex had a fun weekend with grandpa jerry and uncle john in town. she was really quite social and fun the whole weekend with them. we ate most of our meals out and she of course was really good and ate like a champ. saturday, we all went to gymnastics and then to the zoo. we didn't last long at the zoo because alex was walking and she was quickly getting tired and in fact fell asleep in the car on the way home. she played in her pool with grandpa and made him drum a lot with her paintbrushes. actually she was quite bossy (but still cute) about drumming...she would order him when to drum, when to stop and how to hold the "drumsticks". alex had a fun weekend with only a couple of meltdowns - that's always a plus.
