alex the champion shopper

while daddy and uncle matt were down in bristol for the nascar race alex, aunt jess and me went all day shopping! alex was such a champ, we dragged her all over the place, all day and she did not once throw a fit or a tantrum. she did sleep through lunch - as illustrated in the picture (she's sleeping in the booth with her head on my lap). she was talking away and as soon as we pulled into the parking lot for lunch she was out cold and snoring. alex had a lot of fun, but she obviously missed her daddy - she kept asking where he was and expected him to be there when we got home. and of course when he did get home on sunday, she was jumping around and hugging him and kissing him. oh, and daddy brought alex a little 48 race car and a souvenir foam hand which was a big hit (we have to get a picture of it, but it's the perfect size for her and its the hamburger helper hand - she was high fiving with it all night).
