so thanksgiving was celebrated in cincinnati with a trip to the aquarium and then dinner at aunt mary and uncle jim's. we were in cincinnati a couple of days, dad set up some christmas decorations and his train set, which alex really enjoyed. the aquarium was nice, not too crowded, alex really like the frogs and seeing "baby nemo" and dori and of course the penguins. she picked out a stuffed frog at the store (that also have 6 more plastic frogs in it's zip up belly) - alex named all them "cocoas". thanksgiving dinner was good, alex was not shy at all and there was plenty of stuff to play with. she only ate rolls for dinner but then enjoyed some pumpkin roll cake for dessert. alex enjoyed seeing uncle john and grandpa jerry. happy holidays. also, alex has had dry pants for a week now and spent all weekend in her big girl underwear - yay!
