hey! what happened to christmas?!

Here's a picture of Alex enjoying her snow day with daddy on Friday after completing her barn floor puzzle - she's very good at her couple of puzzles and really enjoys them. We took down the rest of the christmas stuff this weekend too (while alex was napping - she was giving off hints that she would not be very helpful in taking down christmas, since according to her it was still christmas since there's snow out). so after alex woke up from her "nap" (well, she really hasn't even been napping on the weekends anymore, it's more of a down time where she lays down and relaxes for a little while) and came downstairs the first thing she said was "Hey! What happened to Christmas?!" so obviously she noticed the tree was missing. We did put up the valentine's day decorations (not that there's much), so then when she woke up on Sunday morning the first thing she said was "It's Valentine's Day?" and starting this morning, alex is moving up to the next classroom - she will now be in the pink room. this also means that she moves up to the big kids breakfast room on the upper school side of the building!! she was ok this morning, she stopped at the door for a second and was being shy and not talking, but one of the worker's little girls (who knows alex) came over to help her get accustomed and start playing. she should be in a classroom with makenna again, but not sure who else. alex is also on a waiting list to move up to the next gymnastics class as soon as there is an opening. geez, no diapers, moving up in classes - she's truly such a big girl now!
