well, not much to say about alex this week. it was a rough week on us and her - she was in a mood all week - we think she was fighting off being sick all week and then it caught up to her on the weekend. we even left gymnastics early because she did not want to do anything and was even telling me that she doesn't like gymnastics or the trampoline (which, i know is not true - she's happiest when bouncing on that trampoline). now, she's trying to work through a pretty bad cough. but she did make progress toward earning her roller skates - the deal is that she has to let me trim her nails 5 times in order to get her skates (which she was going to get anyways, she's been bugging me for some for a while now - so we figure we should get something out of it - like not having to stay awake half the night in order to trim her nails after she's fully asleep!). So, now we're up to 3 times! and every time she gets her nails trimmed john has to call the post man to bring her skates a little closer. oh, and he has to call the dentist pretty much every night by alex's request to tell him/her what a great job she's doing brushing her teeth! oh, and alex is very into playing tea right now with water! she spends quite some time pouring water from one cup or teapot to another and so forth until the water is all gone (gone because now it's either all over her or spilled into the towel that's lying beneath the tea sets or both!).
