so, alex just finished spring break with daddy. they did lots of fun things, but mainly got to play outside when the weather was nice. they also came to work to help with a baby shower. but, this weekend was all about building forts. if this keeps up i'm going to have to figure out an easier way to set up a fort and not have to rearrange the entire family room. it's fun though. and of course, all the animals and babies get to join in the fun and be under the fort. and back to school today! i guess all alex's friends had been asking where she was all last week, so that's good. and monday's are dance class, which always makes it easier to convince alex to go to school. of course, she missed her friends and her cot (i know, crazy, but whatever does it for her) and dance class, and she told me on the way to school that she was going to make something for daddy and me today. so sweet. and of course, she picked out a wonder pets toy at the store with a gift card this week, and all she cared about was showing it off to her friends!
