first sleepover

karen and her girls, kate and julia, were passing thru town on their way home to jersey on friday so the girls all got their first sleepover! alex had a grande time - even though we're all paying for it now - she is craaaaaaby. she just adores those girls though and had such a fun time. they got to have pizza for dinner, then run around outside before the rain came, and then they even got to eat cake for breakfast! of course, on saturday alex took a 3 hour nap! and i hear that kate slept a good chunk on their trek home. but then alex only napped for all of 5 minutes on mother's day and was a complete gem yesterday (can you read the sarcasm here?) and back to school today - i hope she does not drive the teachers batty today with her crankiness. happy monday :)
