pretty exciting week. first earlier in the week, alex finally received her dollhouse! yes, i got it to playing condition and we put all the furniture in it and she received the dolls for it and everything. i even pulled out some old school stuff for the house from when i was little. there will be lots of photos to come for the dollhouse when i catch up to it on my other blog. but alex loves her dollhouse and is taking really good care of it so far. in fact, one night when she was playing with the house she was singing a song she made up about keeping the dollhouse clean. then the big event this weekend was the grimes wedding ceremony. it turned out to be a beautiful day and the ceremony was gorgeous. alex got to hold jessica's ring during the ceremony (and yes i was holding my breath the whole time that she wouldn't drop the ring down below the gazebo - luckily there were no incidents). and after the ceremony we went back to bopey and normy-norm's for a lovely lunch spread and chocolate wedding cake. congratulations to uncle tom and aunt jess.
