coldest putt putt and ice-cream day ever!

grandpa jerry came up for a visit this weekend, so according to alex we had to go play golf and get ice-cream (since that's what they did this summer when he visited, so i guess it's now a thing). oh my goodness, it was way too cold to be outside playing putt putt and eating ice-cream (even if it was tasty dairy queen ice-cream). but alex had a good time and she got to use her new golf club that grandpa jerry made by cutting down a larger putter. gymnastics went well this weekend too, and this week alex got to help john paint the bathroom. but the big event was golfing with grandpa jerry (and the ice-cream of course - chocolate dipped in chocolate btw).
