fried bologna and beauty and the beast 3d

alex got to enjoy some snow this weekend. some sledding on the "track" in the back yard (i.e. john running around the backyard while pulling alex on sled), she built a snowman and did some shoveling (yes, she enjoys shoveling.) and of course we built another fort on saturday. then on sunday, we went out to lunch and a movie. we went to the B spot at Crocker, which i've been wanting to try out. i'm so proud of alex because they don't have a kid's menu so she had to order something other than a grilled cheese and she tried new foods. she tried an onion ring (didn't like it, but she tried it. well, she liked the breading not the onion), some skinny fries with sea salt and rosemary (she looooooved the fries), and fried bologna (it was a thick slice of fried bologna with cheese on a bun and she loved it.) then we went to see beauty and the beast in 3d where she continued to eat popcorn the entire movie. and there was an animated short of rapunzel and flynn's wedding before the movie which was really cute. after the movie alex and i tried out the photobooth, which i think is a thing now because she's already talking about next time. although next time will be better, we didn't really know what we were doing and weren't looking in the right place for half the photos and alex wasn't tall enough to be in view so i was holding her up for each shot. in spite of that a couple of the shots are cute - next time will be cuter :)
