a little of this, a little of that

it was kind of a recoup weekend for us, still getting over the holidays and birthday and back to the grind of things. still trying out new toys and cleaning up and all that stuff. we built a fort in the family room with a sheet and some binder clips. then uncle matt and aunt sarah brought over alex's birthday gift fort kit (alex described the fort kit as being "so dynamic".) so we built an addition to our fort on sunday. so it was a fort weekend. alex also tried out her new pottery wheel this weekend, she still needs to paint them, but she made what ended up being two plates and she wrote her name on one of them. we also played some board games, watched some despicable me, colored lots, drove her car both days in the front yard, and lots of little things here and there.
