dress up and tea parties and forts and errands

yes, alex is dressed up in a wedding dress. it's ariel the mermaid's wedding dress - it was part of a bundle of dress up clothes that she's had for years but just recently discovered. she wanted us to call up dawson so he could come over and get married. it is pretty funny though to see her all dressed up like this and playing tea - she says she's dressed up like a princess. so we ran errands, got some gifts, crafted a lot, played dress up, went to lunch (alex tried a pickle - she was bribed with some chocolate ice-cream - but she said it wasn't too bad), built a fort (which is becoming a weekly thing), and prepped all her valentines.
