the lorax and special popcorn

we went to the see the lorax this weekend in 3d. since we went right after lunch we didn't get any popcorn there so alex got to enjoy "special popcorn" later that day, cracker jacks. i knew she'd love the cracker jacks and she even enjoyed the little prize that came inside - a paper pencil topper. we also built a fort this weekend, alex painted her nails, took great care of all her baby dolls, played outside, we went to the pool, she baked with her easy bake oven, went on a walk with lonnie, played on her jungle gym, did some art and practiced typing. i'm sure there was more too. she did alright at the pool, two steps forward and one step back, right? she was scared again, but still practiced using her arms while kicking her legs. she'll get there.
