summer break

after today alex is officially on summer break. she does get to go to john's school today which she is excited about. she was able to enjoy her pool this weekend in the backyard and she painted her nails really nice. the butterflies are starting to come out of their cocoons. alex brought in homemade cookies for her last day of school on friday. and the summer csa started this weekend. alex finally tried scrambled eggs with ketchup - she said she liked them but her face said otherwise. but she said the farmer eggs were really pretty and she wants to try them in a different way next time. she's been better about trying new foods lately, although she hasn't really taken to many of them, but at least she's trying them.
