thanksgiving holiday
we traveled down to cincinnati for thanksgiving to grandpa jerry's house. he had the train set up, which alex really enjoys so she played with that a lot. lonnie did fairly well in the car, alex asked "how close are we?" more times than i liked. we had thanksgiving dinner over at aunt mary and uncle jim's house. alex had i think three plate refills of turkey and noodles. she said the noodles were "off the hook" and she did eat some corn even though she claimed her fork wasn't allowing her. we also went to woodland mound where she got to play on the large playground and lonnie got to run a little on the leash. we, of course, went to the gap clearance center and got lots of stuff. and more eating, i think alex enjoyed all of that, she likes to eat. when we got home we went to the botanical gardens for their holiday event. the best part of the gardens is the butterfly room, which is there all the time. alex loved the butterfly room, it was really neat in there. and there was a little train ride outside and lots and lots of gingerbread houses.
