return of the pink eye queen and happy st. pats

we had a hectic weekend, but alex had fun. she went in to work with me both days this weekend so i can do some printing. she had a nice time playing with everything at my desk, not to mention the mcdonald's breakfasts she got to get each day. she enjoyed watch the first harry potter movie on saturday - she's seen pieces and parts but not the whole thing straight before. on sunday, after we got home from work we found that the leprechauns had left her a treasure map. she read all the words on the map herself, followed the trail and found a couple of Oz gifts at the end of the map. and then...we discovered the pink eye! yay, so we had our first trip to a minute clinic yesterday and got alex some drops for her eye. then we cleaned and laundered the house yesterday. she is back at school today and hopefully not spreading her pink eye germs to anyone else, including us.
