candy shop and snow

i am so ready for warmer weather, but alex just loves the winter - well, she loves both warm and cold weather, but she isn't as eager to get rid of the snow as the rest of us. she got to play outside several times this weekend and have john run her around on the backyard on the sled while lonnie chases them. she helped shovel the walkways too. we also went out to b.a. sweeties this weekend; john needed candy and chocolate bars for the prom. alex picked out some candy for herself and of course eyed the rest. she was trying to think of all sorts of reasons why we needed more candy than we were getting. then we had lunch at the friday's that john used to bartend at - i don't know that we've been there since alex was born even though she seemed to remember everything about the restaurant (that she's likely never been to before.)
