we had a relatively productive weekend. it was cold and still wet outside so we were mostly inside this weekend. but we made some stuff, got some stuff done and had to do all the normal housework and homework stuff as well. alex got pink eye yet again, thank goodness we got the extra drops from the doctor. we still managed to go to the children's theater series this weekend at OPA (Olmsted Falls Performing Arts - that's where alex takes her dance and voice and theater classes - and likely soon will be drum lessons.) we went and saw the Little Mermaid. Alex really enjoyed the show - especially seeing quite a few of her friends in the show. i was quite impressed with what a great job they do - and these kids are pretty young and have great voices. so now Alex wants to audition to be in the Little Mermaid. then Alex spent pretty much the rest of the weekend in her roller skates. it's good that she's getting comfortable with the skates by herself.
