alex lost her 2nd tooth this week! her first tooth is almost fully grown in and the tooth next to it has been loose for a while. i think alex may have worked it pretty hard this week to get it to fall out. the tooth fairy left her a dollar in her pillow. alex was thrilled but then said "i thought she'd leave me some fairy dust or a note." haha, she was happy with the dollar - i think she's planning on buying some ice-cream with it. we didn't have drums friday night, so alex and i went to the pool. she did great - slowly getting more used to the water and swimming with a noodle instead of clinging on to me. on saturday, we finally went to pizza hut so alex could get her free personal pan pizza (she earned a coupon for that at school for reading.) she loved their pizza - i don't think i've ever seen her eat the crust before and she loved theirs. then the rest of the weekend, alex worked on some bracelets, put up more ornaments, and built a really fun fort out of her art desk.
