drums, and birthday party, and 5guys

here's a picture of the fort alex built under her art desk - it's surrounded by stuffed animals and she takes the lantern in there to do i don't know what. drums went well on friday. then she had a birthday party on saturday; it was a pool party and i guess she met a boy there. she got a little notebook in her goody bag at the party which has become alex's "life journal" and she wrote about the party and this boy she met in there - i'm not allowed to read it, haha. she's still doing lots of stuff on her rainbow loom and she helped me run errands on sunday which was followed by us picking up 5guys - which she loves. oh, there were conferences this week; alex is doing very well, she's very good at math and well-behaved. she was also reader of the week; which means she practiced a book all week and then read it to her class on friday.
