we had another fun filled weekend trying to get thru the winter. saturday, alex had tae kwon do in the morning; she's loving that class and we found out what she has to learn and practice to get her first mark. then we had lunch at the mall food court followed by the Lego Movie in 3d at the new great northern theaters - which have really comfortable seats. alex got to eat her pretzel dogs again and i got some pad thai! the lego movie was fun, i loved it and would definitely see it again. Sunday, alex had another birthday party to go to (it's birthday party season.) this one was for sophie at the bowling alley. while alex was at her party, john and i gave her some room and bowled some games further down the alley. we had fun and then we walked back down to see her finish up the party and bowl a couple of times. she had a great time, and john is a pretty decent bowler. alex and john have today off, so i think they're going to go sledding with her friend, abby and her dad.
