it was right to read week at alex's school and the theme was jungle. so different days had different dress up activities including crazy hair day where she wore feathers in her buns, animal t-shirt day, animal print day (which she didn't have so she wore camo all over to be the jungle), and bring an animal stuffie day. she also had pajama day this week, which also happened to line up with her science fair day! i would have loved to see that: she wore a red plaid one piece pajama suit with a butt flat that says bear cheeks on it while presenting her science fair project which was a balloon-projected car and a mouse trap car both demonstrating newton's laws of motion. friday night, emma came over for a playdate. they had a great time, we ordered pizza, they gave each other makeovers and had a dance party. on saturday, we were able to go visit carter and connor and of course matthew and sarah. that was fun and alex loves seeing her cousins. the rest of the weekend was getting stuff done of course; alex helped with the laundry and cooking a bit and a little of the cleaning.
