it has been really cold lately and alex had 2 snow days last week. surprisingly she's at school today in spite of the negative temperatures. she was pretty disappointed; she wanted to go to work with john and hang out with miss G. alex has been having fun at theater and practicing for her upcoming tournament in taekwondo. she's good at sparring, so we'll see how she does against other schools in that event. she prepared her science fair project this weekend and wrote the paper for it. she made two different cars demonstrating newton's third law of motion: a balloon-propelled car and a mouse trap car. and if you can tell by the picture we have started working on alex's halloween costume for this year. yes i know it's early, but to fit in all my stuff along with soap making and fabric design i have to plan ahead. i asked her if she wanted a wig or a hat for her costume and she chose a hat. she says it's really comfy and knowing the weather for cleveland halloweens, a hat will be helpful.
