we had a really full, fun weekend. and we actually managed to get some stuff done as well. saturday, alex and i (with sarah, jessica, abbey and bopey) had holiday tea at the ritz. it was delicious as usual. alex ate all her sandwiches and treats. including her hot chocolate with marshallows and she even ate some of my desserts. the gingerbread house was super cute and their tree was lovely. after tea, alex and i walked around tower city briefly to look at the decorations and waited for john to pick us up for hockey. it was star wars night at the monsters hockey game. so alex and i changed out of tea clothes into our star wars clothes and we headed to the game. there were a bunch of characters there that you could pose with for a picture. alex got a ton of compliments from everyone on her leia costume. during warm ups a monsters player tossed her a puck. and then sully (the mascot) tossed her a shirt! it was a great game and they finished with a win. on sunday, we went over to bopey's for her birthday dinner. alex got to hang out with her cousins and eat cake and ice cream. and the browns won so alex shouldn't have homework today. it was such a busy weekend, that i was out of sorts this morning i guess and forgot to grab alex's lunch for school! luckily she noticed before i left her so i gave her lunch money. she's never bought her lunch before so this is a first! ugh, mondays.
