first day back from break, ugh. although alex was excited to be going back to school and to see her friends and to tell her teacher all about break and seeing star wars and bring cupcakes and everything else. break was a lot of fun; i can't believe it's over with already. i can't even remember everything we did, we were busy. we had christmas and birthday celebrations with grandpa jerry and uncle john. then john, alex and i went to castaway bay for some fun indoor swim park time. all three of us went to see star wars on christmas eve (alex and i went again the following week.) we visited with everyone at aunt molly's for christmas eve evening. we had our christmas morning with presents and cinnamon rolls. santa brought alex the BB-8 droid she wanted. Santa even brought Blizzard and Lonnie some treats and toys. then the evening was with aunts and uncles and cousins and bopey and norm and aunt lani for dinner and more presents and fun. we had a weekend full of hockey games. John and Alex got to skate on the ice before one of the hockey games (and she got to use her new ice skates.) we had some days of cleaning and running errands and starting the christmas decoration clean up. alex tried to stay up until midnight for new year's eve, but i'm the only one of us that made it! she had a lovely birthday with more presents, and pizza and ice cream and gingerbread cupcakes. we all started working on projects and cleaning up some more this weekend. and alex and i spent quite a bit of time putting together our lego millenium falcon! i know there was more in those 2 weeks that i'm forgetting, but it was fun and filled and delicious.
