alex has been wanting to learn more about cooking, so john is teaching her. we watched several cooking shows and i think that's inspiring her a bit. already she helped cook brinner (breakfast for dinner), pizza, muffins and beef stew! oh and she helps with making salads - cutting the vegetables and such. she's doing a great job and she seems to really enjoy it. she just finished up jump rope club this week as well - that was a lot of fun for her and i guess she learned a lot of tricks. we've been working on some spring cleaning around the house as well - going thru our clothes and books and all to donate. she got to have a playdate at her friend, Emma's house on friday. saturday, we hung out with matt and sarah and the kids. alex and carter had a lot of fun building a fort and playing in there. on sunday, we had make-up easter over at bopey and norm's. alex found the most eggs (even when we made her stop hunting), but then she gave some of her eggs to carter since he had the least and was kind of upset about it. and she helped us prep lunches for the week and cook dinner :)
