alex was on spring break all week. so she had a lot of fun spending time with her friends and putting on plays for the younger kids at daycare and baking cookies and doing science experiments. on good friday, alex had a playdate with her cousin, abbey. it sounds like they had fun and even got ice cream and made bracelets. friday night, the three of us had a hockey game. it's almost the end of the season! friday night was bobble head giveaway night as well as cheap hot dogs night. so alex and john enjoyed their hot dogs and alex tried nachos for the first time (since that was my dinner, haha.) we spent a lot of time spring cleaning this weekend. seriously, i'm sore now from all the cleaning. easter was nice. alex woke up to enjoy some donut holes and finding eggs with candy and money and her easter basket. the rest of the day was spent doing more of that spring cleaning and enjoying the beautiful weather. alex has her annual well visit today, so we'll see how tall she got - which she must have grown inches because i just had to give away her entire wardrobe practically because she's too tall for it! and back to school.
